Small, medium and large wheels. ZK-BSH.

Piper PA 22-150 Caribbean ZK-BSH c/n 22-7321.This aircraft was imported by Airwork (NZ) Ltd and appeared on the register on 03-03-1960 with a C of A issued on the 7th for listing to the Rotorua Aero Club on the 16th.
On 15-01-1962 it was back with Airwork (NZ) Ltd of Christchurch, and after a brief lease to the Auckland Aero Club between 21-04-1962 and 15-05-62 it returned to Airwork again before joining W B Easton of Dannevirke from 20-07-62. Here it replaced the Tiger Moth ZK-AZY. The Caribbean was in turn replaced by the Cessna 180 ZK-BGI.
The above pic was taken at Wellington in October 1963.
In March of 1967 it moved to Tauranga for J C & M J Cole, replacing their PA-22 Colt ZK-BYP.
General Finance Acceptance were the registered owners from 29-05-1969 with a hire to H V Wilkins and G Bell.

It then went to H V Ryan of Waharoa from 25-05-1971 and I believe it was used by the Matamata Gliding Academy.

The Bellingham's of Pukekohe paid the bills from 15-11-1984 and about this time it was converted to a tail dragger (ala PA-20 Pacer). Note the new nose profile and wing tips.
Next noted based at Stratford with P J Newson from August 1991. It was damaged at Taupo on 30-05-92 and again at Stratford on 26-12-1995 before a move back to the Tauranga region to join J B & CA Brunskill on 01-04-2000.

Paul & Philippa Hally of Wellington become the proud owners from 11-05-2003 before Willy Sage of Blenheim took it over from 13-11-05.
