More Wigram sightings

On Tuesday the 11th I found the Avid Mark IV ZK-JHW c/n 1434D tucked away in the hangar.

This is a recent arrival for Grant Porter and is ex Kaitaia Aero Club.

Interestingly this Avid whilst under the ownership of Paul Havill flew out to the Chatham Islands accompanied by the Sky Arrow 480T ZK-EBR/2 back on 09-04 2004.

Parked out on the grass was the Cessna T182RD ZK-MAS/2 c/n 182RG0061 of Morpheus Aviation from up Hamilton way.

Others aircraft noted were the 150hp Cessna A150L ZK-CZZ/2, c/n 1500447 out for its pre summer wash down.

Piper PA31-325 Navajo ZK-NOW/2 c/n 31-7912032. Its ownership changed to Brick Securities Ltd with an Auckland address on 22-11-2007.

One aircraft missing (not the DC-3 - which is in WN minus an engine) but the Piper PA60 Aerostar 600 belonging to Clive Ridge. This was ex VH-UYU and has aspirations of becoming ZK-TSA. This arrived in May 2001 and has been parked in the rear corner of the hangar pretty much ever since. It has been in bare metal - all paint removed and the engines inhibited for yonks.

Devon ZK-XNZ flew in about a week ago and appears to be on a maintenance check (cowls off). It was last noted at Ashburton in the rear of the hangar minus props.
