A brief visit to Rangiora found the recently imported Solar Wings Pegasus XL-R ZK-JSJ/2. It still also wears its UK registration of G-MTIV. Its c/n is SW-WA-1195.
I note that the time expired Zlin has gone from its hangar and the damaged fuselage that was decaying outside has also moved on. Gone south says a local. (Taieri ?).
There is a heap of damaged parts still lurking in the corner.
And yes it really does fly. The Ragwing Pietenpol Exp ZK-RWA of a Wayne Wilson on final.
Piper PA46 Malibu N9099Z still plies the airways in its US marks.
The old Auster J4 ZK-AXC c/n 2080 owned by Byron Kelly has taken the Zlins place in the Hangar. Looks rather dashing with its Lycoming engine and clear door panels and big boots.
The Hughes 369D ZK-HXZ/2 c/n 117-0233D of Amuri Helicopters appears to be in a new scheme
