Home Growns Homeward Bound

Two 750XL's have returned to NZ in recent days. Firstly 4 August saw ZK-KAK arrive back at Taupo from Moree via Lord Howe, Norfolk and Kerikeri. Just the day prior it had flown to Tennant Creek from Kupang via Darwin. This machine only departed NZ in early July and interestingly shows up in the NZCAA accident briefs as having incurred damage during landing at a new airstrip in Cambodia on or about 27 July. Obviously not bad enough to prevent its ferrying back to NZ.

Secondly saw another Kiwi Air machine return home from an extended period of time in Africa on seismic work with UTS Geophysics. ZK-XLA arrived at Auckland from Bourke via Lord Howe Island 5 August and continued to the operator's base at Gisborne the following morning. It was noted flying into Broome from Bali 3 August.

Cresco ZK-LTP, also from the Kiwi Air stable, returned home in July arriving at Auckland from Griffith via Lord Howe Island on the 18th. It had flown from Perth/Jandakot to Ceduna the previous day.

Kiwi Air 750XL ZK-SWA is also in Western Australia having arrived at Perth/Jandakot 6 July from Alice Springs where it had earlier arrived from Daru in PNG via Horn Island.
