Weekend gathering at Taupo.

Henry has sent in a selection of photographs taken at Taupo during the weekend. What was the occasion ? Above is a general view along the tie down row,
 Above is the Cessna 172L ZK-DAY (c/n 59825) of David Kenyon of Porangahau.
 Cessna 172M ZK-DHU (c/n 61028) of the local operator Taupo Air Services Ltd.
Cessna 0-1G ZK-DOG2 (c/n 23452) of the Kaipara Aviation Trust. A real war bird, having served with the US Army as 53-8031 and the South Vietnamese Air Force as 538031 before coming onto the NZ register in 1994.
The Pukekohe Flying Group's Cessna 172N ZK-ELY2 (c/n 70251).
The Cessna 182T ZK-JRY (c/n 81923) is listed to Paul Hood of Hanmer Springs.
 The Tongariro Aviation Cessna U206G Stationair ZK-KPM (c/n U206G-06210) from Turangi.
Work must go on however. Here the thirty five year old Super Air NZAI Cresco 08-600 ZK-LTQ (c/n 002) plods along.
 Brent Ferguson's Air Loans Piper PA46-310P Malibu ZK-MBU (c/n 46-8508094) up from Nelson way.
Above is ZK-NOC the Cessna U206G Stationair (c/n U206G-06563) ex Nokomai Ltd and ex ZK-NOK2
Below is the current ZK-NOK2, (c/n T206-08524) a  Cessna T206H Stationair TC of  Nokomai Ltd of Nokomai Station in Southland.
 Below is the Beech A36 Bonanza ZK-UTE2 (c/n E-515) of Farmers Air Ltd of Gisborne.
Below is the 1947 Stinson 108-2 Voyager ZK-VGR (c/n 108-2317) of Hamish Ross, over from Hastings. It came to NZ in 1996.
Only six years younger is the Cessna 180 ZK-WGT (c/n 30012). Built in 1953 and used in Uruguay until imported into NZ in 2006. The oldest Cessna 180 in NZ.
 Below is the Commonwealth CA-25 Winjeel (Young Eagle) ZK-WJL (c/n CA25-04). An ex Royal Australian Air Force aircraft which arrived in NZ in April of 1998 under its own steam.  It didn't join our register until 11-03-2009 for G C Aviation Ltd of Taupo.

Also over from Hastings was the Scottish Aviation Bulldog Srs 120 Model 121 ZK-WUF (c/n BH120/315), an ex RAF/Cambridge University Air Squadron aircraft.
Last for this batch is one that I have never seen. The Piper PA24-260 ZK-PMC (c/n 24-4833) of Helicopter Services Support Ltd.
