Helicopter crash-lands at airport
The helicopter crash landed at the airport, seriously injuring a man
A man has been seriously injured when a helicopter made a crash landing at Swansea Fairwood Airport.
South Wales Fire Service said the man had head injuries and was airlifted to Morriston hospital in the city.
Another man received minor injuries in the crash, a spokesperson for the fire service added.
A fire crew based at the airfield laid down a blanket of foam as a precautionary measure, in case the damaged aircraft caught fire.
Three crews from the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident at 1414 BST.
A spokeswoman for the Air Accidents Investigation Branch said: "We are investigating the crash but we are not sending any investigators.
"The investigation will be done from the paper report by the pilot."
