An afternoon with Andy

I had the honour and privilege yesterday afternoon to accompany aviation photographer Andy Heap out to Rangiora. My plan was to gain a few tips.
Above we have Andy having a shot at the Cub ZK-BTM.

Above is Cathy (or should that be Kathy) on her first solo Cub landing in ZK-BTM.

It was a great day for circuit bashing. Fleet Canuck CF-DQM , c/n 60 , was out doing it.

As was the Reims Cessna FRA 150L tail dragger ZK-FWW , c/n FRA150L-0122 . This one belongs to Glenn Armstrong of Waikuku Beach

Caroline Trevella was out with her Thruster Gemini ZK-FMH , c/n MAANZ/353 . Caroline has a Karatoo under construction.

Departing after refuelling, for its home at Herbert, is the Notar ZK-HDW3 , c/n LN072 , I suspect after some frost work further north.

The open cockpit Rans S-9 Chaos built by Peter Dyer ZK-JRP , c/n 0802174 , was also active.

Evektor-Aertechnik Sportstar Plus ZK-MAC2 , c/n 20071103 , arriving back.

The best tip for the day : get a decent camera !
