One of the first Pacific Aerospace Cresco’s built has been exported from New Zealand with the departure from Hamilton on 14 July for Norfolk and Lord Howe Island’s of ZK-PDZ c/n 003. Initially registered ZK-LTR back on 22 July 1982 to James Aviation, it then moved around agricultural operators until it was re-registered ZK-PDZ in late 2000 and took up the role of parachute dropping based out of the Jardines Strip to the south of Queenstown. Interestingly, ZK-PDZ was cancelled from the register on the same day it exited the country, an unusual transaction, however this was rectified a little later in the day. On 15 July the Cresco pushed on to its new home of Armidale via Coolangatta.
