On the western grass at Christchurch yesterday (Thursday 05-02-09) was this Cessna 180K Skywagon II
ZK-JCW (c/n 53100). Imported in 1993 via Airflight South for Alistair McKee of Milton. It is now with One80 Aviation of Auckland.
Spied at Wigram yesterday was this Cessna 182S
ZK-MDH (c/n 80617) parked under the wing of the Bristol Vibrator. Also on the field, I guess awaiting Sundays big day, was the Tiger Moth ZK-BLM. Mustang ZK-TAF, DC-3 ZK-DAK and Catalina ZK-PBY, plus the regular Wigram based civilian machines. Some of the RNZAF Museum pieces were already out like the B170, the Andover, the UH-1 and whatever else.
This road runner crossed my bows as I was exiting the Western Grass area of Christchurch yesterday. A real "snap" shot taken through the window on the move.
