The Position: The successful applicant will co-ordinate, supervise and control technical and modification records of Emirates aircraft, engines and components as per Aviation Authorities legal requirements and ensure permitted limits pertaining to aircraft, engines and components life are not exceeded. He/She will supervise a team of Technical Records Assistants to ensure a timely update of aircraft operational and maintenance data into the Emirates Engineering computer systems and ensure that aircraft, engine and modification log books are promptly updated and certified through regular audits.

It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66. Experience and Qualifications:
    Must have at least 12 years schooling or equivalent. Candidates with a technical diploma or a higher technical qualification will be considered.
    At least 5 years current working experience in the advanced operational activities of Technical Records or Maintenance Planning within an aviation related engineering environment, such as - an airline / aircraft maintenance repair organisation.
    Sound understanding of aircraft documentation and records including AMM, IPC, Work Packages and Maintenance Schedules.
    Understanding of aircraft systems, power plant and components especially associated with Configuration Management and Control.
    Sound knowledge of computer applications (e.g. MS Office) & knowledge of Airline/MRO Maintenance Control Systems (e.g. Ultramain) is required.
    Detailed understanding with aircraft regulatory and legislation requirements within an airline and MRO.
